History and Experience

Since 1978, McNairy & Associates has provided professional commercial and residential appraisal and consulting services in North Carolina. The company was founded by James D. McNairy, III, MAI, SRA and Jeanne J. McNairy, MAI, SRA and has grown to include qualified commercial and residential appraisers performing services for all property types.

Managing appraiser, Laura K. Mallory, MAI has 30-years of experience in valuation and consulting services. Tonya Brady, MAI, SRA has 23-years of experience providing commercial appraisals. We are also joined by 11 commercial and residential appraisers which include State Certified General, State Certified Residential, and State Licensed Residential Appraisers, each providing quality reports and services.

We are bound by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice adopted by North Carolina. Our appraisers belonging to a professional appraisal organization are also governed by the Business Practices and Ethics of that organization.
